It also took me to reach a burnout to slow my life down completely and become in touch with myself in a way I hadn't for a very long time. the lessons I learnt during this burn out period were immense. I didn't know it at the time, but within 6 months my mum would die. And the lessons I learnt at that time, learning to slow down and know what I needed would be so vital. I'm still very much learning. But life has slowed down and that's a good thing.
